my parents stayed at villa anna for about 20 yrs on the trot.my mum decided to take me along to meet the family!we then went and stayed every year for four years.i have never met such a friendly family who wants to make your holiday such a happy one!!my children really enjoyed playing with iraklis the owner who played frequently in the pool with them,of course after serving us with refreshments.i would highly recommend this venue for a holiday ,the apartments are kept spick and span every day,to a high quality of cleanliness.overall i would give a 10 out of 10 for a fantastic holiday!the bars and restaraunts in stalis are very friendly and we enjoyed having a meal in each ,enjoyning every one.

I ave stayed in villa anna hotel two years ago and it was the best holiday i have ever been on, and hope to be visiting next year. The hotel owner is called iraklis (AKA Hercules)lol and his very entertaining and kind to everyone even little red riding hood had a blast lol. we had long lazy days at the pool and when when it was really warm we went into a cool quaint indoor bar area were we had access to the internet and where able to updated our friends back home how well we were enjoying the holiday, all the girls really had a ball at this hotel and hopefully next year we will be taken our partners there for them to experience a great holiday that we had!!!!

I have stayed at this hotel with my sister and my niece. We had a brilliant holiday. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and well kept.The hotel is close to all the amenities. We would have breakfast in the back courtyard each morning with a beautiful view of the mountains to the back of the hotel. In the afternoon we would sit on our balcony overlooking the pool area and watch as the other guests of the hotel seemed to be having great fun in the water with the owner. The views from the upstairs rooms were breath-taking. I would recommend this hotel to older couples and young families, or anyone looking for a relaxing welcoming family holiday, we found that a week here is just not long enough. The personal touch really does go a long, long way.

We stayed at this hotel 2008 with our daughter who is 40+ and in a wheelchair. We travel at least 3 times a year and always have to check out hotels for wheelchair friendly facilities, this was one of the best wheelchair friendly hotels we stayed. The hotel was close to the center of town that hosted various restaurants and bars with a straight flat road so this suited us to a tee. If we didn't fancy going out there was always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the Villa Anna were we spent most of our days by the pool. Iraklis the owner was (as we say in Ireland - Good Crack). The rooms were spacious and clean, towels and bedlinen were changed every other day, and the bins were emptied every day. We hope to be visiting Crete again in the future and we have no doubt that we will be booking to stay at the villa anna again, we had a fantastic holiday, and next time it will be two weeks!

My mum has took us to some rare hotels in the past, but thank god she took us to Iraklis's place it's the best place yet, and Iraklis is good crack as well in the pool. Its the second time we stayed there, am going to take my friends to it when I am 18, at least we can go out an party at night and have a good laugh by the pool during the day.

my family and i have stayed at these apartments on 4 different occations over the years, we have always had a fantasic holiday. iraklis the owner is a great guy, he loves to have fun and always makes you feel welcome. the town is only a short walk away with its shops, bars, resturaunts and beach front. the apartments are set away from the town area but all are only a short srtoll away. the apartments therefore are quite at night away from the bussle of the town. the pool bar always has a fun atmosphere both day and night and it attracts both young and old with iraklis the owner always making your evening an occation for laughter. the pool is always clean and well kept and the rooms are cleaned to a good standard. i would reccomend these apartments to young families as well as older couples looking for a holiday slightly removed from the center of nightlife but within easy reach. also with a good family atmosphere making you feel welcome from the start to end of your stay. more
